Training Facility (TF)

The project is to reduce poverty and to contribute to socio-economic development in Cambodia through capacity and institutional building. Specifically, it focuses on improving capabilities of Cambodian nationals by facilitating their participation in a wide variety of training initiatives in-country, in the ASEAN region and in Belgium.

As part of the strategy, the project is designed to stress the application of the acquired knowledge and skills in the workplace to ensure great impact on target beneficiaries. 

The four components of the project are: 

-Efficient mechanisms for facilitating training;

-Training initiatives;

-Application initiatives;

-Multiplication initiatives;

The project starts in 2004 for a duration of three years; its coordination unit is located in Phnom Penh.
